The Prophetic Ministry at CSHOP exists to bring comfort and strength to the believer by sharing a few of the many thoughts God has for them, in turn edifying and encouraging their hearts. Our aim is that in the communication of Jesus’ heart for His people, Jesus would be most glorified and exalted while following the move of the Holy Spirit.
Prophecy in the Bible
Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus’ heart for His people (Revelation 19:10).
According to 1 Corinthians 14:3, prophecy is for the edification, strengthening, encouragement, and comfort of the body of Christ. Prophecy is simply speaking words that agree with God’s will for another person. The Lord loves to speak to His children in order to proclaim blessing over them and wants to speak to each of us!
John 10:27 "My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me."
Psalm 139:17 "How precious are your thoughts toward me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand."
Acts 2:19 "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people, Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”
1 Corinthians 14:31 "For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.."
Prophetic ministers speak words of encouragement, edification, comfort, and strength in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 14:1 and 3: “Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy . . . He who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.”
The goal of our team is to serve all those who sign up for prophetic ministry. We sincerely desire to hear from the Lord on behalf of those coming for ministry, so that they may be encouraged and built up in their faith.
