Freedom Gate

Kim Hembry is a native Texan and has served on staff part-time at CSHOP since 2012, giving leadership to justice initiatives, hospitality, and events.

Kim has a calling to partner with God's heart "to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." (Isaiah 61) Over the last few years, she has been able to minister under this banner through intercession and outreach alongside many local ministries. She desires to see the justice of the Lord go forth on behalf of those who have been wounded, exploited, and held captive by various strongholds, and she desires to help equip them to walk in freedom and the fullness of their calling.

Recently, Kim, with the blessing of CSHOP leadership, decided to move forward with a dream the Lord has been growing within her for several years. She is starting a ministry called "Freedom Gate." "Freedom Gate" is being birthed out of CSHOP but will operate as its own 501c3 organization.

The vision of "Freedom Gate" is to teach, train, and equip individuals and communities to walk in healing and freedom. "Freedom Gate" will consist of areas of teaching, training, outreach, and a restoration home that will provide an opportunity for women to experience healing from trauma and freedom from pain, bondage, and various forms of addiction.
